Catherine Natalie "Cate" Flannery is a 19-year-old Mia doll from the small seaside town of Kennebunk, ME. Her life is consumed by ice skating practices and competitions, and she plans to try out for the 2010 Olympic team this winter. She is a Venturer (Boy Scout) and spent 6 months last year sailing around the world with her crew. Cate is outgoing and outspoken, but she is also very secretive and only shares personal things with her very best friends. She is quite used to getting her way, which sometimes makes the other girls see her as a bit snotty. Cate doesn't make good friends easily, but once she does, she is very loyal. Her other passion besides sailing and skating is her love of medicine, and she plans to become a pediatric hematologist-oncologist specializing in leukemia. In her spare time, Cates likes to listen to and review music on her blog; her favorite artists are Train and Ingrid Michaelson. Her favorite color is blue.
