Jess
Jess is a 10 year old girl who lives in Pittsburgh. She is an only child. She enjoys outdoor activities like studying butterflies (which is called Lepidopterology). She is obsessed with being the best Girl of the Year doll, ever, and doesn't like any of the other ones. Jess can be bossy but is usually nice (unless it involves another Girl of the Year). She has been to Belize but doesn't think she wants to be an archeologist. She isn't sure what she wants to do when she grows up, but she wants to be the best at whatever it is! Her favorite color is orange, her favorite toy is her stuffed monkey Toshi, and she likes to play Animal Crossing on her DS. If she could be any animal she would be a monkey, but she would really hate to be a dung beetle. Her ideal day would start with candy for breakfast, playing on her DS until her mother yells at her, going out to observe butterflies, candy for lunch, getting presents for no reason, reading a book about rainforests while sitting on a swing, playing with her best friend Ana, having shrimp for dinner, and staying up late reading Sisters Grimm books.
